Craft Show

Whew...I have time to breathe again. The First United Methodist Craft Show in Newport News was on Saturday. Getting prepared for my first show was quite the undertaking. I had a blast, though, preparing myself and preparing my products to share with others. But it was a lot of work. Thankfully my children and my husband have been so understanding at my busyness lately. I'm looking forward for things to slow down a little-just in time for the holidays!

I had a SUPER time at the Show. Because 31:18 has been primarily an online business, I miss getting to talk face-to-face to customers. It was good to find out what they like about the products we offer and what other products they'd like to see. I met some truly wonderful ladies that I hope to keep in touch with.

I introduced some new products that aren't currently posted in the online store. Getting them online is top on my "to do" this week. I now have nursing covers, toddler/children's scarves and seasonal bibs available. I also have an increased selection of washies and onesies. I also have a few other "coming soon" products to the website, so stay tuned. They were all a big hit at the show.

(In the pictures: The first picture was right after I set up my display space. Notice I ended up moving things around later. I also thought it'd be a good idea to "pose" by the table for some pictures. Little did I realize how rough I looked after waking up at 4:30 am, driving over an hour to the show, and being on my feet all day. Oh well, you get the *real* me, I guess. PS-I made that shirt; the pictures don't do it-or me-justice. I promise it's more flattering in real life, or so says my husband.)

I am so impressed by your fabulousness! Provers 31, indeed. And you look adorable, but I totally get the "oh my goodness, is that how I really looked" feeling. Can't wait to see your seasonal stuff!

I had SUCH a great time meeting you! God has truly blessed you with talent. I used the cloth "bucket" today when I went with a friend to the New Hope Center. I put Benjamin's small toys in it to keep him occupied in the waiting room. I got a lot of compliments and people wondering where I got it! Thank you SO much. I also used the washies yesterday after feeding Benjamin. He didn't fuss too much when I cleaned him up- I guess it was due to the softness of the washie! I am looking forward to seeing more stuff on your website!
